Would you believe...?
As if my dinner last Friday wasn't exciting enough, this evening I got to eat dinner with a Nobel Prize winner, a music critic from The New Yorker, three prominent members of Old Ivy's history department faculty, and the chairman of the board of the organization which got me into teaching in the first place!
Oh yes, and then I got to go to a lecture about Einstein, Franklin, and the nature of creativity.
Sometimes, it's really good to be an academic!
